Q: Do you offer a free trial class?
A: Yes! The Tumble Gym offers free trial classes for potential students.

Q:  How can I  register?
A: The Tumble Gym has many registration options to suit your family’s needs.  You may register online (home page), over the phone or in person.

Q:  What is the purpose of the Annual Registration Fee?
A: The modest fee helps defray a substantial administrative cost, insurance and other non-teaching costs.  The fee also encourages consistent attendance, which is essential for optimal class progression.

Q: How does the year-long program run?
A:The Tumble Gym is a year-round facility and does not follow the traditional semester system associated with other gymnastics programs. Our tuition fees are based on a month-to-month basis,  with tuition due at the first of the month.  If you decide that you wish to discontinue a class throughout the year, you will need to fill out a Membership Cancellation Form and hand the form in by the 5th of the previous month
. For example, if you wish to discontinue for the month of July, The Tumble Gym needs to have the form turned in by June 5th.

Q: What if I wanted to join in the middle of the month?
A: The class is pro-rated based on when you join throughout the month.

Q:  Can I drop my child off for classes?
A: No. The Tumble Gym is not equipped or staffed to supervise children before or after classes. It is our policy to have a safe and secure parent to instructor exchange before and after class inside The Tumble Gym. Your child’s safety is important to us--please help us in keeping your children as safe as possible!

Q: Why does tuition remain the same if I do not receive the same number of classes each month?
A: It would be confusing and costly for The Tumble Gym to alter tuition costs for different months. For this same reason, universities, landlords and banks do not alter tuitions, rent or loan payments when the days in the month differ. The Tumble Gym operates year round and averages 4 classes a month; this is how we calculate our tuition cost. For this and many other reasons, it is important that members of The Tumble Gym view enrollment as an ongoing educational investment rather than a series of classes.

Q: If there is inclement weather how will I be informed of cancelled class?
A: The Tumble Gym realizes that from time to time there will be weather or other natural occurrences to force us to close or have a delayed opening. When this happens, The Tumble Gym will do its best inform you by posting notification on our website as well as leaving a message on our answering machine. Furthermore, The Tumble Gym follows the Chapel Hill/Carrboro public school system's inclement weather policy, and will delay opening or close accordingly.

Q: What is the makeup class policy?
A:
Just as with universities or private schools, your tuition pays for an education regardless of attendance. However, when it can safely and feasibly do so, The Tumble Gym desires to offer two (2) makeup class of equal age or skill level to your child during the same calendar month provided that your account is in good standing.  All other makeups will be completed through our Open Gym program.  We ask that you view makeups as a privilege and keep in mind that The Tumble Gym retains the right to refuse a makeup if doing so will overfill a class or jeopardize the safety or positive experience of others.  If you are not currently enrolled in a class or have not paid the current month's tuition, you are not eligible for makeup classes.
